Product Description
Get more done with the power of Bluetooth! Transfer files between your computer and any Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as cell phones, PDAs, printers, headsets, and more. Create on-the-fly networks between two computers w/ Bluetooth. This simple USB adapter acts as an antenna for your computer, giving it Bluetooth capability. Package includes Bluetooth dongle & software installation CD.
This bluetooth dongle comes with a full version of BlueSoleil software and drivers. However, the software is not licensed to every type and model of hardware that is capable of using Bluetooth. If the software detects hardware that does not match the license keys it expects, then the software will impose a 5MB data transfer limitation. To overcome that limitation, users must purchase a different version of BlueSoleil software separately. We apologize for any inconvenience.

5 out of 5 stars Works fine with windows xp   July 12, 2010
L. Turner (MEMPHIS,TN)
I purchased this for file sharing only i have a samsung impression cellphone,i had no problems sharing files setup was easy, and it beats taking your sd card out of your cell to get files from or to your computer, ive corrupted two sd cards in the last year by putting them in the computer,it was worth the $$..

1 out of 5 stars Not for Skype users   March 10, 2010
Panos Mavridis (Greece, Chalkis)
I bought this to use it with skype, to get rid of all the cables, the skype phones etc. Unfortunatelly, the link between this bluetooth and the line was awfull. Interaptions, no connections, connection failures. Even with the latest drivers, the result was a complete loss of time.
If you want to use skype, i suggest you to turn to other solutions, or another bluetooth. Not this one.

1 out of 5 stars Garbage   February 20, 2010
Adam R. Wood (poughkeepsie, ny, US)
Will not work. Software is unlicensed. Will not pair with my headset. Complete waste of time and money.

1 out of 5 stars Didnt Work!?!   February 7, 2010
Sam Gam (Scotland)
This arrived in just over a week but thats ok seeing as it was just after Christmas and i think it was shipped from the states. the software that came with the Dongle not only didnt work but crashed my computer everytime i tried to install it. i eventually downloaded the software from a website but after installing still couldnt identify it as a bluetooth dongle. this could all be because it was made in the states or maybe im just a bit special, but i gave up.

5 out of 5 stars Works as expected   January 7, 2010

My windows XP system had the correct drivers for this bluetooth dongle, installed it, and it worked on the first try. Bluetooth file transfers are kind of a pain no matter what device I use, but this works as expected. For the price, it was a bargain, haven't tried it huge distances, but it works within at least 5 feet of my computer, I should probably try it further and add a note later.
