I'm not a big fan of those smaller barreled Cross pens because they are difficult to use for a long time without my fingers getting sore and cramped up. The Contour pen is just the right size without being too heavy, as many of the larger barreled pens are. Everyone in my office seemed to like them so I bought a few more.
No, they aren't the cheapest pens out there, but they are comfortable enough that you can get a lot more done without being too uncomfortable. In the end, that's all that matters.

It's not as comfortable as it looks. Some pens are delightful to write with, this is not one of them. If you are looking for a nice pen, I'd recommend spending a little more and get a Mont Blanc.
