This is a great adjustable-angle table April 18, 2010 Cynthia Hudson (Dayton, OH USA) The piece was easy to put together by one person and had all needed parts included in the box. The table is sturdy and serves me well as a surface for painting on smaller canvases. The only complaint I have is regarding the plastic organizational boxes that hang from the bottom of the table. They are not secured to the table, nor do they have a support in the back, so they slide rather easily out of both the front and the back of the metal loops that hold them. Overall, I'm very pleased with the table and would recommend it to others.
Missing parts December 28, 2009 Black Belt (Richmond VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Parts missing for this Christmas gift. Emailed the company (Alvin) and they responded that I should contact the dealer from whom I purchased the item...so I'm in the process of contacting Amazon. I'm very disappointed.
The table top is MDF and is attached to the frame by wood screws; this is going to loosen over time.
This is a great table!! November 21, 2009 Jason L. Buchta (texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a drafting and design student and I found this to be a great buy.I put it together in about an hour and it came with all the tools I needed. I used a little lock tight and wood glue from home depot to make for stronger joints and it worked out well.I would say that you should buy it, it's a great table.
Be Smart.. July 26, 2009 Wayne Greene (OK, USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
First, the instructions and parts combination need a little improvement. But if you take your time, check off all the parts, and look carefully at the parts and the instructions, it will come together. You do have to be capable of critical thinking and have a logical, intelligent approach.
As for a couple of reviewers crying about no stability, I find that not to be the case. Granted you need to be smart and use proper tools to assemble it; power drill/driver, screw driver, pliers, etc. Using basic skills, tighten everything, including frame to drawing board. Then, be sure all bolts are properly snugged and you won't have any problems with "instability." (If you only use the tools that come with the table, you'll have an unstable table!).
The drawers are rather cheap plastic. While they are functional, they are still just cheap plastic drewers..
For the price, this is a fine table and sufficiently sturdy to support drafting, drawing, painting or crafts activities with no problems. I've done all but the drafting and I love the table. And as I've already stated, no problem with stability, unwanted movement or the like.
I recommend this table with no reservations beyond what is stated above.
product made in asia by unknown fabricator June 1, 2009 Jeffrey A. Gold (plainview, NY USA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I found the table to be made of base metal like steel as two bolts stripped the threading. The steel is soft and cheap. Instructions are written poorly and the diagrams are useless. I called the company and explained they are only middlemen and they do not make the item. That they would pass along my comments to the buyers. Buy something else this is not going to make you happy!
