frequently dropped connections September 9, 2010 Joshua Hershey (Princeton, NJ) I've had this TRENDnet TEW-432BRP router for several weeks, and I don't think I've gone more than a day without having to unplug and reboot it. Even though my computer is in the same room (so signal strength isn't a problem), the router frequently drops my connection and reboots itself, leaving me without internet access for a few minutes at a time (it reboots very slowly). Sometimes it manages to restore the connection again, but many times I have to manually unplug my cable modem and the router, then wait for both of them to reboot before the connection is restored. Needless to say, this gets annoying when it happens several times a day. I did not have this problem with my previous router.
Totally didn't work September 7, 2010 D. Xu (Edison, NJ USA) It took me a night trying to set up this wifi router, but it didn't work at all. It can't detect the network connection type. And whatever type I input, it doesn't help at all. I had to revert back to the old wifi router which had worked fine except that it had to be rebooted every week or so.
VERY CHEAP.... September 7, 2010 JCARROLL I have had alot of problems with this router (The ROuter constantly Conflicts with another IP Adress and goes out rather frequently and randomly)... It is the best buy if you are on a budget like me and you just need something that connects and you don't mind having fun replacing IP Adresses and turning on and off the router. I actually kind of like repairing the internet service (It makes me feel needed in the household) and Since Im the computer tech of the house I do all the work with the computers and the networking so Its not really a problem) I read that this was a piece of crap before I bought it but its not crap if you can go on the internet a portion of the day lol but it is a hassle to work with and if you dont have the time to deal with a router messing up on you I DONT ADVISE getting this router. (Paying for quality)....
Trendnet Wireless G Broadband router September 7, 2010 JudyM This router was easy to set up and so far, is working great. We have noticed the signal flutters if we try to use the computer in on eof the upstairs rooms. Price was great, size is great.
Works wonderfully September 4, 2010 Buddhagirl I bought one of these so my friends could use my internet signal when they visited. Had to call the help desk because my computer was not configured properly but they walked me through it step by step.
